The Quarantine Diaries

When the global pandemic, Covid19 hit, the theatre community was one of the hardest hit. Barbara Hobart wanted to do something to help, so she decided to raise money for The Actors Fund; an organization that provides a safety net for all professionals in the performing arts. The Quarantine Diaries was created and has so far raised $101K.

Shortly after it aired, on May 25th, the world changed as we witnessed the murder of George Floyd. Despite the quarantine, millions took to the streets demanding justice for George Floyd and countless others. The world was listening. Finally.

Nothing can contain challenges, ​change, or creativity. Not even a quarantine. So, Barbara decided to continue to create work and is thrilled to present UNBoxed: Finding Our Way Out. Monologues from some of the best writers, performed by extraordinary actors sharing the stories of our times.
